General Tattoo healing information
-
Wash hands before ever removing wrap or remove in a shower with warm water.
-
Once home and in your bathroom take off the wrap that we have provided.
-
If using second skin you may leave it on for 3-5 days. Take it off before then if it leaks, or peels as the seal is broken. Or if you get a redness around the wrap as you may be allergic.
-
After protective wrap is removed, wash thoroughly with antibacterial hand soap until skin feels smooth and all residue and slime is removed. Use only a LIQUID unscented soap.
-
After tattoo is thoroughly washed do not re-wrap.
-
Dry with a clean paper towel or air dry. DO NOT USE BATH TOWEL
After dried use a small amount of Healing balm, or A&D ointment for day 3-5. This layer should not be visible and should only be enough to moisturize the area. Switch to an unscented hand lotion if using A&D after the 5th day until healed

Ear or Body Piercing care
NEVER TOUCH HEALING PIERCING UNLESS you are in the shower, cleaning it, or with clean hands to adjust placement. Piercings should be Rinsed with Shower temperature water at least every other day. Only use clean running water.
-
Use the Wound Wash spray to lightly rinse the area. Spray directly on the piercing- front and back. Let it sit for a couple minutes then remove excess.
-
Fingertips, Q-Tip’s, or non-woven gauze should be used to remove buildup around the front and back of piercing in the shower, or after piercing spray has saturated the area when build up is softened.
-
-
Always check your threaded tops to make sure they are tight, to avoid losing the jewelry and potentially the piercing.
-
OR directly on a Q-tip and hold it on the area. This should be done 2 times a day.
-
If you are using a soaked Q-tip instead of spraying directly or a shower, hold it on the area for a couple of minutes to soften the buildup before removing. Never remove hard buildup on a piercing as it can break the healing tissue)
-
-
Make sure you are wearing clean clothing and using clean bedding. You could also use a clean shirt on your pillows during the healing process. As well as keep makeup and hair products away from area.
-
Piercings should be handled with care. They are open puncture wounds. This means that they will more than likely be prone to bleeding and swelling in the beginning. They will potentially be sore for a few days- weeks. Ibuprofen and/or a cold compress may help relieve these symptoms.
